Mission

As an GoContractor Marketing Coordinator, you’ll be an important member of the Global Marketing team, joining at a time of rapid growth. Driven to effectively communicate GoContractor’s value to our audiences, the marketing team develops compelling campaigns, inspiring sales experiences, and innovative sales materials. As a new addition to the team you will be closely connected with our US construction audience and your aim will be to gather market intelligence and drive our social media reach. 

 

Day-to-Day

Events & Marketing CoordinationSocial Media Engagement
  • attend construction events, network, grow our audience 
  • continuously grow the reach by developing relationships with buyer personas and influencers 
  • feed info into sales and marketing
  • get out onto construction sites to understand the daily lives of our users and how that affects our messaging 
  • help create content in the form of interviews / videos / images 
  • act as our eyes and ears for trends, news, new regulations etc
  • support local sales and marketing requirements
  • grow GoContractor social presence
  • schedule and execute all social content and events
  • engage with our audience on social 
  • research emerging content trends and hashtags, identify new and innovative ways to showcase content and assets on social media
  • assist with content curation and brainstorming
  • manage/curate social messaging for senior leadership on an as needed basis
  • report on social performance analytics 

 

Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in a marketing role 
  • Proven ability to build a network of contacts, influencers and buyer personas 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage social media accounts and apply a brand voice
  • Highly collaborative, organized, and a self-starter
  • Clear and effective communicator, experienced in managing projects 
  •  3rd Level Marketing Qualification

Our customers include some of the largest construction, mining and energy companies worldwide. We have offices in Dublin, NYC, London and Toronto, and we’re set for more exciting growth over the next two years.

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Development Representative who will contribute to our business growth. As an SDR, you will be responsible for delivering a steady flow of new business opportunities to your dedicated Business Development Manager. You will do this through a combination of outbound prospecting and cold calling and inbound lead follow up.

The ideal candidate will display drive and initiative, as well as the ability to get things done!

Responsibilities

  • Partner with your BDM to achieve mutually aligned sales quotas each month
  • Engage construction professionals via phone, email, and other channels to understand their business challenges/needs and identify opportunities for GoContractor to solve them
  • Ability to build strong rapport, establish trust and credibility through a consultative approach
  • Build a consistently solid pipeline of quality leads for your assigned BDM
  • Gaining key information from prospects to ensure leads are qualified
  • Develop a deep understanding of the construction industry and GoContractor’s product

Day to Day Tasks

  • Work closely with your BDM to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business
  • Achieve target number of quality meetings per day
  • Researching and recording leads/prospects across specific industries and territories
  • Managing prospect responses and updating Salesforce records
  • Assigning qualified leads to your BDM 

Requirements

  • A can do results driven attitude coupled with a desire to achieve and succeed
  • Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills
  • 1 – 2 years of Previous B2B Lead Development / Inside Sales experience in a technology company with  a proven history of overachievement
  • Proven success in building and maintaining successful relationships with prospective and existing customers
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and data manipulation
  • Familiarity with telephone selling techniques and direct marketing
  • Experience of the construction industry a plus

Sales Representative – Graduate Role

Initiafy is now seeking an energetic graduate for our Toronto office. The graduate will work closely across the various teams in GoContractor and learn about B2B enterprise sales and marketing. They will research and engage with new prospective companies to identify their needs in relation to the GoContractor product. Our ideal candidate will be a Business or Marketing Graduate and will possess the skills to work proactively and of your own initiative.

The Responsibilities & Guidelines:

  • Customized strategy for markets/customers agreed with Business Development Managers (BDMs)
  • Using a variety of techniques to research and target potential prospects
  • Gaining key information from prospects to ensure leads are qualified
  • Liaising with the BDMs to ensure all qualified leads and appointments are passed on
  • Coordinate Account Management approach with BDMs
  • Use phone calls to garner direct research to assist in strategy development
  • Developing a consistent pipeline based on research outputs

Business Development Manager – EU

GoContractor is seeking a professional, energetic and organized business developer who has both a ‘hunter’ mentality as strong account management skills. The candidate will manage an existing pipeline as well as generating new deals across Europe. The role is varied and offers the successful individual the opportunity to earn as well as grow their career.

The Role

  • Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement
  • Manage and own their pipeline from prospecting to close, whilst working closely with our Dublin and New York-based lead generation team
  • Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
  • Nurture and communicate with prospects via structured calls, emails, online presentations, and in-person meetings
  • Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned
  • Possess a strong understanding of our solution, our competition in the industry and positioning
  • Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors
  • Hire, train and mentor the new hires in the BDM team, also work closely with BDRs and Marketing teams to ensure that requirements are met
  • Develop and implement the sales metrics, in order to improve the overall performance of the sales team
  • Support and assist the sales team to meet and exceed goals and quotas
  • Track weekly, monthly and quarterly performance and metrics
  • There will be some travel required, as this role will deal with new and existing customers across Europe
